We offer a range of sustainable play equipment inspired by Montessori and Pikler's research theories - adapted to modern families' routines and needs. Each product has been carefully designed and manufactured by us, conceived with a focus on children and the environment.
Our freeplay pieces are a balanced mix of beautiful design and functionality; they can be mixed and matched to create larger structures or used on their own in different ways.
WE ADHERE TO STRICT SAFETY AND ECO-FRIENDLY STANDARDS. WE ONLY SELECT NOBLE AND HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS, LOCALLY SOURCED IN WA, WITH NO PLASTICS OR HARMFUL SUBSTANCES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT OR THE CHILDREN.
Parenthood, as overwhelming as it can be, has only inspired us. Our children have made us see the world with different eyes, and by witnessing their evolving needs, plä plä took shape.
Our history
It was 2020, in the context of the first Covid lockdown, when Justin decided to become a stay-at-home dad to our toddler Clara, our first child. The endless hours spent indoors with furniture doubling up as play equipment (though often dangerous!) and our eagerness to avoid screen time, led us to a thorough research about safe and free play resources.
Plä Plä acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which our business operates, the Nyoongar Wadjuk people, and pays respects to their elders both past, present and emerging.
